BOSCH DWK065G20T is Aluminum Cassette Filter for the Hood. It is a material that can be easily mounted on the hood and protects the hood motor by trapping the oil that comes out during the use of the cooker.
The usage period of Aluminum Cassette filters is a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years.
It should be washed by hand every week with hot water, it is not recommended to wash it in the dishwasher because the rinse aid and high heat will blacken the aluminum.
When the filter expires, it should be replaced with a new one.

Range Hood oil filter maintenance:

There are two types of hood oil filters available:

The oil filter protects your hood by trapping oil particles. Aluminum or Stainless Steel grease filters require periodic hand washing with neutral detergent or in a low-temperature dishwasher (*). The paper oil filter should be changed every month, depending on usage.
 
Activated charcoal filters are attached to recirculating hoods and trap odor particles in the air. It should be changed every 3-4 months. Long-life filters have a longer lifetime: they need to be changed every two years.
 
Taking simple precautions will help you to keep your hood in ideal condition.
